The Riverfront Development Corporation of Delaware (RDC), the Wilmington based non-profit organization focused on creating economic vitality along the Brandywine and Christiana rivers, while enhancing the environment, encouraging historic preservation and promoting public access, seeks an experienced Operations Manager.
In this newly created position, the Operations Manager will direct the management of an outdoor ice skating rink, a miniature golf course, and a public market. The Operations Manager will schedule and supervise seasonal staff, plan and coordinate special events and promotions, oversee marketing efforts, manage tenants and vendors, and administer cash management policies.
Qualifications:
- At least three to five years of experience in the management of a public and/or private venue or attraction.
- Event planning and/or promotion experience.
- Experience with budgeting and cash management policies and procedures.
- Must have excellent management skills, exceptional team leadership abilities, and a strong work ethic.
- Must possess excellent planning and organizational skills; ability to meet deadlines a must.
- Experience with point of sale system preferred.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Proficient in current Microsoft Office suite.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Evening and weekend hours are required.
