Chase Center on the Riverfront

In January 1998, construction began on the Chase Center on the Riverfront along the Christina River in Wilmington, Delaware. The Chase Center was originally established as a world-class exhibit center and banquet facility hosting exhibits such as “Nicholas and Alexandra: Splendors of Meiji, The Last Imperial Family of Tzarist Russia,” Discovering Dinosaurs: The Great Exhibition”, Syria: Land of Civilizations and Faberge.

As the revitalization of Riverfront Wilmington gained momentum, requirements for an exhibition facility were shadowed by the region’s growing need for a Convention Center and Event Facility. The Chase Center on the Riverfront is the location that has the power to elevate your event from special to spectacular.
