In January 1998 construction began on the Chase Center on the revitalized riverfront of the Christina River in Wilmington Delaware . The Chase Center was established as a world class exhibit center and banquet facility hosting exhibits such as “Nicholas and Alexandra: The Last Imperial Family of Tzarist Russia,” Discovering Dinosaurs: The Great Exhibition” and Faberge.

As the revitalization of Riverfront Wilmington gained momentum requirements for an exhibition facility were shadowed by the regions growing need for a Convention Center and Event Facility. Today, the Chase Center is the region’s premier location for events. The time has come to look beyond guest counts and square feet. The Chase Center on the Riverfront is the location that has the power to elevate your event from special to spectacular.
