The 11th annual River Towns Ride challenges you to ride for a gold medal by visiting all four river towns (62 miles) or take one of our shorter routes and earn a bronze or silver medal for distance completed. Start from the DuPont Environment Education Center on the Wilmington Riverfront and visit historic New Castle, Historic Delaware City and Historic Chesapeake City. The ride includes the dedicated bike/walk trails of the Markell & Castle Trails. Signature snacks at rest stops in each river town.
