In January 1998 construction began on the Chase Center on the revitalized riverfront of the Christina River in Wilmington Delaware . The Chase Center was established as a world class exhibit center and banquet facility hosting exhibits such as “Nicholas and Alexandra: The Last Imperial Family of Tzarist Russia,” Discovering Dinosaurs: The Great Exhibition” and Faberge.

As the revitalization of Riverfront Wilmington gained momentum requirements for an exhibition facility were shadowed by the regions growing need for a Convention Center and Event Facility. Today, the Chase Center is the region’s premier location for events. The time has come to look beyond guest counts and square feet.
