Directions
From I-95 (north or south)
Take exit 5A (New Castle) to Route 141 South.
Take Route 141 South approximately 4 miles to the intersection of Route 273 and Route 9.
Turn left and follow for approximately 1/2 mile to a fork in the road marked with a sign reading “Welcome to Historic New Castle.” Take the right-hand fork (Delaware Street). Proceed on Delaware Street to 2nd Street. Turn left on 2nd Street, right on Harmony Street, and right onto The Strand. The Read House and Gardens will be on your right.
