Directions
From the north, take I-95 exit 6. Proceed to the MarylandAve./Martin Luther King Blvd. Turn onto Justison Street southbound. Dravo Plaza will be located on your left side directly after Homewood Suites. From the south, take Shipyard Drive and make a right at Chase Blvd. Dravo Plaza will be straight ahead.
Dravo Plaza could be called the heart of Wilmington. Years ago it was the center of activity in town as the site of one of the busiest shipyards during World War II. Today, it is one of the busiest access points to the Riverwalk.
Visitors can see the Compass Rose, a brick, granite and brass compass-shaped area where you can learn more about the area’s past and Wilmington’s contribution to the fight for peace.
