The new 180-room hotel, which is in Council Member Shabazz’s 4th District, is near areas such as Southbridge and parts of Eastside. Other nearby communities including Browntown, represented by City Council Member Sherry Dorsey Walker (D-6th District). Shabazz and Dorsey Walker have been working together over several months to implement workforce readiness and employment programs for their constituents.
